They must act by Saturday to prevent
information from being provided
Names, phone numbers and other information about Seattle high school students must be provided to the Defense Department on request -- unless parents opt out in writing by Saturday.

CHILD LEFT UN-RECRUITED
high schools are required - ironically, by the No Child Left Behind Act
- to provide military recruiters with student home phone numbers and
addresses. The law also mandates that schools notify parents of the
option to remove student names from these recruiter lists.
